Exhibitions

The Annual Exhibition is held every year in Guildford House. Only Full Members may exhibit. Each year we hold Open Exhibitions where both Full and Associate Members may exhibit. In 2008 the exhibitions are:

Spring Exhibition Monday 12th May to Saturday 24th May at Harvey Road Gallery. This is an Open Exhibition

Annual Exhibition Saturday 18th October – Saturday 17th November at Guildford House.

 

Painting Groups

From September to March The Friday Group meets at Shalford Village Hall and

the Thursday Group meets at St. Catherine’s Hall.

Outdoor Painting Days

From May to September a number of outdoor painting days are organised at mostly local venues. All members may join the groups.

 

Autumn Programme

All talks and demonstrations will be at St. Catherine's Hall, Chestnut Avenue, from 2.30 - 4.30 on Saturdays.

ALAN HUNT will give a talk titled 'There's more to Monet than Waterlilies'

Saturday 11th October

HUGO KASPARIAN will give a demonstration on how to paint an Autumn Landscape in watercolour.

Saturday 22nd November

KAREN PEARSON will give a mixed media demonstration on a chosen topic, using paper collage, inks, acrylics and oil pastels.

Saturday 6th December

SORAYA FRENCH will give a demonstration on an Urban Scene in acrylics/pastels. This will be followed by MINCE PIES AND COFFEE. Please stay on (up to 5.30pm) to have some refreshments and chat to other members. This is our Christmas Event and we hope that you will be able to stay.
