Guildford Art Society holds two regular annual exhibitions.
The Spring Exhibition, which is open to all members is held in the Harvey Gallery, while the Autumn Exhibition, for full members only, is held at Guildford House.
An independant panel of judges selects the works to be included in the Autumn exhibition. Once it is ready to open, the awards, sponsored by several local companies are judged.
We have a full programme of events, including demonstrations, workshops, lectures, appraisals, which are open to all members and their guests; see the Programme page for detail
Jo Quigley, our Membership Secretary has won the 'Buildings of Guildford' painting competition with an excellent view of the Cathedral from Pewley Hill. Juliet Renny was 'Highly commended' for her unusual view of the Castle through some lily plants.
