Formerly a graphic designer, I find it exciting to transfer my knowledge of the principles of good design to glass, and receive immense satisfaction from physically creating. Mainly self-taught over the past six years, I work with sheets of coloured art glass, creating distinctive, vibrant one-off and bespoke pieces.

When we moved to England three years ago, I was excited upon noticing deep window sills seemingly everywhere. I felt drawn to create self-standing windowsill sculptures for them which could interject pockets of blazing colours into passersby's lives.

I have spent the past three years experimenting with combinations of colours and surface treatments to enhance the glow of light passing through my pieces. My "Texture Waves" windowsill sculptures, tableware and jewellery are the result of this effort, and come in a variety of sizes and shapes.

I'm a member of Guildford Art Society, Surrey Guild of Craftsmen, Society of Women Artists, and Kaleidoscope Artist Group. I work in my garden studio in Guildford, Surrey.
