The Guildford Art Society: About Us

Guildford Art Society holds two regular annual exhibitions. Peter Howitt: Venice

The Spring Exhibition, which is open to all members is held in the Harvey Gallery, while the Autumn Exhibition, for full members only, is held at Guildford House.

An independant panel of judges selects the works to be included in the exhibition. Once it is ready to open, the awards, sponsored by several local companies are judged. The winners in 2008 are:

The Society wishes to thank the individuals and organisations who have donated these awards.

 

The Society has over 350 members, including professional artists and talented local amateur artists, some of whom exhibit regularly in the London galleries.
